“The ACT Foundation’s mission is to train as many people as possible in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, through the high school program. With its funding, Sun Life Financial helps to train teachers who will then train their students in CPR. Having more people trained in CPR allows our paramedics to arrive on the scene and have better chance of reanimating a person. It is going to create a real boom in the area of survival rates. It makes all the difference.
