Do you share ACT’s values of health promotion and youth empowerment? Do you want to make a long-term and sustainable investment into the health of Canadians through a measurable program? Do you believe in the benefits of ensuring CPR is part of the education of Canadian youth? Do you want to impact the health of youth, their families and your community? These are the qualities of the corporations, foundations and community partners who support the ACT Foundation. There’s plenty of work to be done and lots of opportunity for creative partnerships.
Partnership Opportunities for Corporate, Government and Community Partners ACT’s community-based model for program implementation is based on multiple partnerships which ensure sustainability and local ownership of the program by schools. Corporations, foundations and service clubs support ACT’s community coordination role and donate funds for mannequins, teacher training and materials. ACT partners with CPR agencies to provide teacher training. The medical director of the local Emergency Medical Services agency provides medical direction for the program. Local newspapers often donate the printing of training manuals, and volunteers ensure successful local implementation. The program is easy to set up and maintain over the long term.
Robust Recognition Program Demonstrates your Commitment to the Community A strong recognition program has been established for communicating your organization’s commitment to corporate social responsibility through the ACT program. The program includes innovative opportunities for communicating this community investment to your stakeholders, your employees or members, and your community. Creative opportunities exist for employee participation at the community level, and we can also help you set up an in-house CPR program. Our self-sustaining model results in long-term awareness of your commitment to the community through ACT. You’ll be working with an organization that shares your values concerning saving lives, creating healthy communities and empowering youth.
